Monthly meeting of the Junior Rockhounds.

In September we will be working on Part II of our atlatl project. Professor Phillips Carr PhD, of the USA Department of Anthropology and noted prehistoric tool expert will be talking to the Juniors about atlatl technology. Dr. Carr is a frequent and favorite speaker at MRGS, and we encourage any interested members or family members to come out.

We will finish up the day with the Juniors testing out their atlatls.

If you will be parking at the clubhouse Saturday morning, please park on the RIGHT side of the lot. We will be using the left side as the atlatl range.
